The second merit list for admissions to Maharashtra First Year Junior College- FYJC 2021 has been released. The candidates are required to check the cut-off list through the official site on 11thadmission.org.in. The candidates must confirm their seats in order to take admission.
This year, more than 3.75 lakh students registered for admission from which 3.06 lakh candidates were eligible for the admissions in the academic year 2021-22. The merit list covers the students who applied from Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Amravati, and Nagpur.
How to Check the Maharashtra FYJC 2nd Merit List 2021
The candidates are requested to follow the step-by-step guide mentioned below to check the Maharashtra FYJC 2nd Merit List 2021.
Step 1: Visit the Maharashtra 11th Admission official site on 11thadmission.org.in.
Step 2: A homepage will be displayed, click on the tab named ‘Region’.
Step 3: Enter the credentials and click login.
Step 4: The merit list will be displayed.
Step 5: Download and keep a hard copy of the document for future reference.
After confirmation of the name in the merit list, the candidate can register themselves and apply online for class 11 admission. The respective authority will approve the admission after verifying the documents uploaded by the candidate during FYJC 2021 admission process.
During the first merit of FYJC, the merit list dropped by 2 to 3 percent for this year’s admission. The highest number of candidates applied for admission comes from Mumbai Metropolitan Region (1,17,883), then Nagpur and Pune (14,2450). The government of Maharashtra earlier planned for a common entrance test for admissions to FYJC but the Bombay High Court canceled the government’s decision as the court said that it will be an injustice and threat to the students in between the ongoing pandemic.
